Boston United Football Club has announced the signing of Waterfall as backroom staff, following Chris Doig's departure to Northampton Town. Waterfall, a former player for Gainsborough Trinity, Lincoln City, and Grimsby Town, will join the Pilgrims ahead of their return to pre-season training at the end of June. The 35-year-old has played over 100 times for each of these clubs, including captaining Lincoln to the National League title in 2017 and helping Grimsby win the National League play-offs in 2022 under the management of Paul Hurst. Waterfall holds the UEFA 'A' Licence and will officially link up with the Pilgrims ahead of their return to pre-season training. The club would like to thank Worksop Town for their co-operation in facilitating the new appointment, with Waterfall cancelling his playing contract at Sandy Lane to begin a new chapter at the Jakemans Community Stadium.
