Boston United's Strategic Move
Boston United have made a shrewd signing in free-agent striker Jordy Hiwula. The 30-year-old, who had been without a club since his departure from Morecambe at the end of the 2023-24 season, has now joined the team following a successful trial period.
Background and Experience
Hiwula's career has seen him move through several clubs, including Manchester City’s youth academy. His professional journey includes stints with Walsall, Wigan Athletic, Bradford City, Fleetwood Town, Coventry City, and Portsmouth. Despite the nomadic nature of his career, Hiwula has shown flashes of brilliance, particularly during his time at Coventry City in 2018-19 when he managed to net 12 goals in 39 appearances.
With his experience and goal-scoring ability, Boston United is hoping that Hiwula will bring the necessary firepower to their forward line. The club's management believes that his addition will significantly enhance their attacking capabilities and provide a boost to their overall performance on the pitch.
